These boots were made for slayin'. . .

. . .and that's just what they'll do. One of these days these boots are gonna slay all over yooooooou. Gretchen nailed the Viking warrior goddess Sif this weekend and reminded us that woe be to your foe and there be no greater sound to a warrior than listening to the lamentations of your enemy's women. Nice seeing Alice & Sharon again after a LONG hiatus. Speaking of which, we only have 1 more Super Hero Saturday left before it's put out to pasture, so be on the look out. ALSO only 4 spots left for Julie Sulzen's awesomely awesome Limited Color Oil Painting Workshop on Saturday, July 15. It's only $ 150 for a 6 hour workshop that will give you the absolute best foundation for painting. By painting two still lives, you'll learn the basics of color mixing that can be used on landscape and figure painting! Don't miss it! REGISTER TODAY!

A cooler full of beer. . .

. . .helps everyone draw better!  That and having a kick ass model like Gretchen pose for us helps a bit too! We are going to do something different in August and have Gretchen pose with her dog! He sits for artists! Imagine that! Great session last night, a bunch of fantastic work. Looking forward to Saturday as Gretchen poses as the Lady Sif! Don't forget folks, 5 spots left for the July 15 limited color oil workshop with Julie Sulzen. REGISTER ASAP!

Who Mourns for Adam?

Well, apparently everyone does since nobody showed up to draw yesterday, save the Amazing Andy, who really, really is the best dude around! It was rather interesting that we were drawin' one of Batman's villains as Maji donned the Poison Ivy garb. 2 more Saturday sessions to go, then we are permanently retiring them. Don;t forget the MARCH FOR ART on Wednesday followed immediately after by a 2 hr drawing session and an incredible BURLESQUE performance by the Lady Jack & Fringe Factor!
