Super Hero Sunday Figure Session - "Catwoman"

 
The modeling session today was a blast. The amazing Marquecia channeled "Catwoman" perfectly. The group started with a series of quick gesture poses, followed by a few medium 5-15 min poses and ending with an hour long pose. This upcoming Thursday night (May 1st) will be a single nude figure long pose and next Super Hero Sunday (May 8th) will see Lindsey donning her best "Lara Croft."

Here is a view of the studio, with 14 drawing horses and 5 easels, there is room for 15-20 artists to work comfortably. We built the horses to step down the closer you get to the stage so that there are unobstructed viewpoints for all.

Inaugural Thursday Night Figure Session

Our first Thursday Night Long Pose Figure Session was held yesterday, April 24th and was a success. 5 artists were in attendance, above and below is a sampling of their work. As always Lindsey was fantastic. Our next session is the first "Super Hero Sunday" this upcoming Sunday April 27th from 12 noon-3pm. Marquecia will be donning a "Catwoman" ensemble. 831 N. Wilke, Arlington Heights, at the SEC corner of Northwest Highway and Wilke across the street from the Arlington Park Race Track. $ 15 cash at the door, bring your own supplies. 12 noon prompt start, limited to 15 artists. Come git yer art on!
