Amazing Art Alumni Attack tonight as we are join by new guild member Eric, thus marking the 25th Paupers Art Guild member who attended the American Academy of Art! We all learned to draw the human form from live models and thus have the insatiable desire to constantly hone our craft, that's why over the years we have hosted alumni who attended the AAA from every decade since the 1950's. Maybe the Academy could someday give us a little shout out, maybe, you think? Just saying, it would be nice to show some love for their people. Considering. After all, etc. and therefore and so forth, que sera, sera.

SO funny - at a certain point during break last night a bunch of us gathered together to exchange complaints about all our physical ailments! Getting old is a glorious thing. Another fantastic evening full of great art and music. Some exceptional experimentation too. Camilo hit it out the park by not overworking it, Natalie broke free  from timid pencil work, Lou decided that china marker and graphite and charcoal might have not been the best combo, Christiane only changed the shoulder like 2-3 times, and of Andy?, man oh man, we love what he's doing here. Super Hero Sessions kick off with Courtney as the Forest Faun this Saturday. Next Wednesday Dalawn is back!
