Red rose growing in the meadow . . .

We welcomed new guild members Debbie and Marlon today as Bill gave a rollicking rendition of everyone's favorite Merry Man: The Friar Tuck! Though, truth be told, he could have also been William of Baskerville or Guido di Pietro or William Abbot or Richard of Wallingford . . . the list is endless. Like navigating the Aedificium I tells ya. Next Super Hero Saturday is May 9 with Ramses Ralph I.

You CAN'T get dirty without starting clean!

That and we learned that there are subtle notes of chocolate and citrus in our brownies, that Tommy's "Yeeees" is the perfect response to pretty much anything. Also, Priya rocks when her OH content increases. As always, great times, and lots of fantastic work. Thanks to Melissa for awesome work, she will join us again in May as Wonder Woman! This Saturday is Bill as Friar Tuck and next Thursday starts our first session with Ariel.

Life is suffering. It is hard. The world is cursed. But still, you find reasons to keep living.

We had to school the uninitiated in the wonders of Miyazaki's Magnum Opus "Princess Mononoke" with Carmella as the titular character. Seriously, if you haven't seen it yet, please for the love of all things beautiful, do so immediately. We also had an impromptu critique session and are toying with the idea of having regular crit sessions.

Searching for the Mystery Spot . . . .

We welcomed new Guild members Dominic, Monica & Jessica for the first night of a two week pose with Melissa in her awesome Victorian Lady outfit. Lots of great work all around and a whole slew of merriment as the Mystery Spot was eventually found!

Face off!

As the tornado came down in Dave's Crossing, Illinois, we hunkered down to a portrait session with Dan who actually went to high school with the Original Andy! We also learned that Muriel scoffs at all the pains and aches of the boys! The past two weeks were single session due to scheduling conflicts, but it's good to be forced to move fast once and a while. This Saturday is our Printworks show, come and be seen. . .buying lots of affordable art!

This one time, it was Thursday. . . .

We had a full house last night as we welcomed 3 new guild members: Angel, Muriel & Andy and had a great time as always with the lovely Marquecia, who is so skilled she can do 2 things SIMULTANEOUSLY, like talk AND rub her belly! Looks like we might have to expand to another regular evening soon.
