OH SNAP!

There were absolutely no snaps of the shutters closing today in our fantastic Pinhole Camera workshop led by the incredible Doug Hanson. Everyone had a blast experimenting with some really cool compositions. On top of that the kids totally schooled the adults by reminding us to not over analyze but just chill and have fun. Seriously impressive imagery all around, thanks to everyone who participated. Our next workshop is Printmaking on November 12 & 13 followed by J.R. Well's "Secret of the Masters - Part 1" oil painting workshop on December 3 & 4. Spaces still available, REGISTER TODAY!

Just like the United States Postal Service

Neither rain, nor shine, nor extremely inconvenient road construction, nor the Cubs in the World Series, nor election hysteria, nor having cold feet, nor nothin' nohow never can stop the Paupers from making the art! Fun times all around with lots of great results from experimenting with surface and medium!

Outfoxed by a pack of greedy little Cubbies

In Chicago, 'tis a well known fact that the prospects of the Cubs getting to the World Series is something to cherish. So much so that it overwhelms the drive of even the most ardent artistic individuals to come draw the amazing Jasmine as La Zorra. It's okay, hopefully we won't have to wait 71 years to draw her again. Wait, so if they do win the World Series, does that mean the end of the universe is upon us? Trump's gonna win? Sianis, sacrifice that goat!!!!

It's all rigged

What else can POSSIBLY explain the Cubs winning? Or Bob Dylan being awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature? Or Barry holding a fantastically contorted standing pose? Methinks McDonald Duck just might be up to something. If paranoid delusion is the specific something, that is.
