The mind of the subject will desperately struggle to create memories where none exist.

Songbird. Songbird, see him fly.
Drop the children from the sky.
When the young ones mis-be-have.
Es-corts chil-dren to their grave.
Ne-ver backtalk-never lie.
Or he'll drop you FROM THE SKY!

We welcomed new guild members Lisa and Ron as Carmella Steampunked her way to Cosplay Victory with her awesome Elizabeth Comstock from the Video Game Bioshock Infinite. We posed her as John Singer Sargent's Madame X and had a great time. Next up on April 18th is Carmella again in her fantastic San from Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke.

Mid tones?

We welcomed new Guild members Arina and Michelle for a full house session with this young up-and-coming model by the name of DaLawn. This fine fellow has a lustrous career ahead of him! Seriously, there are like 2 male models that almost every artist in Chicago has drawn and DaLawn is one of them. He's worked with us for 6 years now and is always a thrill to paint. Great anatomy, great facial features, great skin tone, and he can hold a pose to boot. Next week we celebrate our first year as Paupers Art Guild with the amazing Lindsey. Mark(s) your calendars!

So this Samurai Wanders into an Art Studio. . .

So much fun today with Carmella as Kenshin from the Anime/Manga Rurouni Kenshin. We were lucky to have Joe Ruck's fantastic work up in the gallery allowing us to use his sculpture for our pose and paintings as backdrop. She will return on March 28th in full Victorian Steampunk regalia as Elizabeth Comstock from the Bioshock Infinite Video Game.

Dawning of a new age. . .

. . .in which both Kurt AND Murari are painting in acrylic! It has been (no joke) 2-1/2 years of trying to book Dawn with absolutely everything you can think of interfering with the dates! We were happy to finally get to work with her and will do so again! Looking forward to see Kurt apply his tattoo art knowledge to the brush and Murari take his painting to the next level. SEGA! This upcoming Thursday starts a new pose with DaLawn.

Astonishing and Uncanny I say!

Camille shattered expectations yesterday with her extremely exciting and exuberant exhibition of exacting expropriation of existing examples of exquisite poses all while examining existential dilemmas exacerbated by exceedingly excessive exercises in exclusivity. That being said, EXCELSIOR!
