... and the winner for Paupers Art Guild Model of the year 2017 is: AMANDA! She flapped her way to our hearts Saturday as Zelda Fitzgerald, a literary super hero to be sure! Even posed as Madame X! Great session with a whole slew of fantastic work as a result. Really amazing.

A day late and a thousand dollars short. . .

Great night of mucho experimentation on Wednesday. Joe tried turpenoid on charcoal on Yupo, Sam tried the same on Vellum, Jason's doing his sepia ink, Teresa went back to her loose figures, Dave going technicolor, Camilo trying to find out what he wants to do, Hans playing with the water color, Tommy wondering just how much can he get per load. . .

Don't move, don't breathe don't even blink. . .

Last night we welcomed ANOTHER American Academy of Art Alumnus, Nancy, as we were seriously uber impressed with Brittany's ability to hold a pose PERFECTLY. I kid you not, witnesses galore can attest to the fact that in one of the 25minute sessions she DID. NOT. BLINK. You hear that? She just raised the bar!
